I was born in 1981 in Bogota - Colombia. When I was 8 years old I started to study music at "Orquesta Sinfonica Juvenil de Colombia" where I received guitar and music theory lessons.
After I finished high school I joined "Universidad Central de colombia" to study Classical Music with an emphasis on classical guitar.
In 2006 I finished my degree by performing pieces of Gentil Montana (famous Colombian composer for guitar), Bach, Jhon Dowland, Roland Dyens. I also played the "Concierto de Aranjuez" (the most important Concerto for classical Guitar) by Juaquin Rodrigo.
In 2009 I joined a Jazz Course in Goldsmtih's University in London - UK and in 2010 I finished my Master's course in Guitar Performance at Tech Music Schools in London - UK. I finished the course with a Merit diploma, and I was selected to perform at the graduation night at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (London-UK). Later I was selected by the Colombian Council among other Colombian musicians to perform for Independence's Colombia’s day at the Royal College of Music in London-UK, which I featured a composition for guitar called ‘Summer’s day’.
I play different styles of Guitar, including: Classical, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Fusion and Flamenco.
