Classical music and guitar studies
Andres received guitar and music theory lessons at "Orquesta Sinfonica Juvenil de Colombia".
After he finished high school, he joined "Universidad Central de colombia" to study Classical Music with an emphasis on classical guitar.
In 2006 he finished his degree by performing pieces of Gentil Montana (famous Colombian composer for guitar), Bach, Jhon Dowland, Roland Dyens. He also played the "Concierto de Aranjuez" (the most important Concerto for classical Guitar) by Juaquin Rodrigo.

Andres plays different styles of guitar, including: Classical, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Fusion and Flamenco.
In 2009 he joined a Jazz Course in Goldsmtih's University in London. In 2010 he finished his Master's course in Guitar Performance at Tech Music Schools in London. He graduated the course with a Merit diploma and was selected to perform at the graduation night at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London.
Later he was selected by the Colombian Council among other Colombian musicians to perform for Independence's Colombia’s day at the Royal College of Music in London. He played a composition for guitar called ‘Summer’s day’.

Arranger
Andres has knowledge of the concepts of orchestration for different range of bands and styles. From Jazz Band to chamber music and classical orchestra. He uses this knowledge and experience in writing his own musical compositions. He also plays piano and drums
